Our story
We watched people manage serious conditions in silence.
We decided to change that.
Flittle was built on a single conviction: peer support, done right, changes outcomes. Not the kind you find in a Facebook group — the kind that comes from a small, consistent circle of people who truly get it.
“The most powerful health intervention isn't always clinical. Sometimes it's just the right six people in the same room.”

Why we exist
15 million people. Managing alone.
15 million adults in the UK live with a long-term health condition. Diabetes. Fibromyalgia. Crohn's. Chronic pain. Most manage it without adequate support — between appointments, between prescriptions, between the moments when the system notices them.
Clinical care treats episodes. It cannot address the 8,700 hours a year that happen between appointments — the fatigue management, the medication questions, the bad days, the grief of a diagnosis that never goes away.
That gap is where Flittle lives. We organise people into small, persistent, precision-matched peer circles — and we build the structure and safety that turns a group of strangers into genuine mutual support.

What we believe
Four convictions that shaped every decision we've made.
Small is the point.
Six to eight people is not a limitation of Flittle — it is the design. Research consistently shows that trust, disclosure, and genuine mutual support emerge in small groups. We refuse to scale at the cost of connection.
Matching changes everything.
Random peer groups fail. People drop out when they don't feel seen. Fello analyses condition complexity, personality signals, and lived experience to build circles where people genuinely recognise each other — without having to explain themselves from scratch.
Persistence beats intensity.
One wellbeing webinar changes nothing. Showing up every week, to the same people, over months — that changes outcomes. Flittle circles are permanent structures, not time-limited programmes. They grow closer as time goes on.
Safety is non-negotiable.
Our members are living with health conditions that can involve crisis, distress, and vulnerability. Clinical governance is not a feature we added — it is the foundation we built on. NHS-aligned escalation pathways are present from day one.
Meet Fello
The AI engine behind every circle.
Fello is Flittle's matching intelligence. It analyses six categories of signal to build circles where people genuinely recognise each other — without having to explain everything from scratch.
The result isn't just a group. It's the specific group of people you've been waiting for.

Not just diagnosis codes — Fello understands how conditions interact, overlap, and affect daily life differently across individuals.
Personality profile
Introvert or extrovert, analytical or emotional, talkative or quiet. Your circle matches how you engage, not just what you have.
Lived experience
How long you've been living with your condition, how it affects your work, your relationships, your identity. This context shapes the match.
Life context
Family situation, energy levels, preferred meeting times. Fello builds circles that can actually show up for each other — consistently.
Continuous learning
Circle outcomes feed back into Fello. Every match makes the next one better. The model improves with every circle it creates.
Privacy by design
Fello processes signals to make matches — it does not share personally identifiable information within circles. What Fello knows, the circle never sees.
Our values
The principles we won't compromise on.
The platform exists to serve the connection — not to replace it. Every product decision starts with a single question: does this make the human relationship stronger or weaker?
Our members live with health conditions that can involve real vulnerability. We hold ourselves to NHS clinical governance standards because anything less is not good enough.
No personally identifiable health information is shared within circles. GDPR compliance is a baseline, not a boast. What members share in their circle stays in their circle.
Feelings deserve measurement. We track WEMWBS wellbeing scores, UCLA Loneliness Scale results, and appointment frequency because we need to know whether we're actually helping.
